New Pacific Template and a Smarter Website Agent

We added Pacific, a new website template with a fresh look for local businesses. We also improved the Website Agent so it can handle bigger edits, work better in long chats, and make more kinds of changes to a website.

New features

  • Added Pacific, a new template with a bold design, flexible sections, and a polished mobile layout.
  • The Website Agent can now create new content groups and fields for things like roofing types, team members, or project categories.
  • Improved Website Agent support for both older Lightning sites and newer sites.

Bug fixes

  • Made the Website Agent faster and more efficient during long editing sessions.
  • Improved how the Website Agent creates, saves, and uses images.
  • Improved default colors and setup for newly generated websites.

Version 2.3

Connect Your Own AI Agent and New Docs Hub

Jul 8, 2026

Users can now bring their own AI coding agent to edit a 1ClickWebsite site. The Website Agent dashboard includes a guide link for Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, and similar tools. We also added a new docs hub with V2 docs, Lead Gen API docs, and legacy V1 docs in one place.

New features

  • Added a "Connect your own agent" guide from the Website Agent dashboard.
  • Published setup guidance for using an application password with your own AI tool.
  • Added a /docs hub that points users to V2 docs, Lead Gen API docs, and V1 docs.
  • Added Lead Gen API docs with a Copy page button for quickly pasting the full reference into another tool.
  • Added AI support chat improvements to answer common product and setup questions faster.

Bug fixes

  • Updated Docs links in the header, mobile menu, footer, dashboard, FAQ, and Lead Gen flow to point to the new docs hub.
  • Improved dark-mode styling for the Lead Gen API docs page.

Version 2.2

Lead Gen Makeover, Cleaner SEO Defaults, and Editor Fixes

Lead Gen has been improved to accept a CSV of businesses instead of a list of Google Business Profile CIDs. Users can edit the logo, colors, and template before and after generation. Bug fixes were made to the OCF editor, agent, and Lightning template. Multi-language support has been improved to support inner-page slugs.

  • Lead Gen now works from CSV uploads, so you can generate lead pages from a business list faster.
  • Lead Gen branding is easier to adjust, including logo and color controls.
  • New generated sites have stronger default meta titles, descriptions, schema, image alt text, and social images.
  • Multi-language sites are more complete across pages, slugs, navigation, and generated content.

Bug fixes

  • Patched OCF editor issues where saved content could feel like it was being overwritten or reverted.
  • Fixed several Website Agent and Lightning template issues around generated content, images, and mobile layouts.

V2 Polish Pass

The OCF editor was improved for editing text, images, colors, sections, and site settings. The Lightning template was tightened for generated sites, mobile layouts, and agent editing. Several early V2 bugs were fixed after testing on real generated websites.

V2 Release

V2 introduced the OCF-based website system. Generated sites now use structured fields for copy, images, colors, sections, and settings, making them easier to edit manually and easier for the Website Agent to understand and update.

Original Launch

The first version of 1ClickWebsite generated WordPress websites from basic business details. It included generated pages, copy, images, SEO basics, hosting setup, and client handoff tools so users could create a usable client site quickly.
